ABOUT DR. O’TOOLE

Dr. Richard R. O’Toole (1909-1978), was a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the St. Louis School of medicine.  He practiced pediatrics in the Pittsburgh area for many years and was affiliated with several hospitals, most notably St. Francis General Hospital.  His concern for the health and well being of all children is well known and documented.

He viewed the child born damaged in any way a true victim.  We have named our organization in his honor, and believe he would approve and applaud our mission.
